  • hello, hello once again! it's been a while.. my website was okay for quite some time but it went down again. its kinda frustrating. so im sorry for the inconvenience...

anyweiz... finally!! my camera is here!!!  DSC00439bsmall

im really enjoying it! i ordered a nikon D80 a week ago... and it arrived this monday... i was so excited... and still am. anyway, i posted some pictures that i took so you can see.

this week is the nationwide church leadership conference. it has been going on since tuesday and today is the last day and are going home tomorrow.

i got to visit and took pictures of them this afternoon after i cleaned my room, bathroom, and bathed the dog this morning. im still gonna go back early tomorrow morning to say goodbye before they check out.

the weeks prior to the conference was busy as usual... helping finishing up financial reports, statements and everything needed to be done before the conference. (and the occasional checking of what camera to buy ) hehe.

oh yea, not a very long while back we had some incidents with snakes around the house... jasmin spotted one at the garden and hid among the rocks... we each got a rifle (me, dad, and charlie) and tried to shoot it when on sight. so yea, we were able to kill it and burried it... then not long after, i spotted another one only it was even bigger... but it disappeared just before i went to see where it went. the following day jasmin also saw the same snake.. but it went out too fast... never seen it since then.

during those times (another incident) there was like a baby rattle snake that went inside the room where isis and charlie are staying temporarily... im not sure if its a rattlesnake but it looks like it... its a baby and it fights back and rattles its tail (tho too young to have a literal rattle yet).. charlie killed it.
now we're wondering where did it come from and how was it able to get here... anyways... no more snakes so far, thankfully.

oh wells... its getting late and i still need to get up early for tomorrow... just thought of updating... (which i have been procrastinating to do). but now i did it. yay. lol.

    goooooooooooooodnight!

PS: i didn't know that my xanga can still be put to good use...   its a good back-up blog.

  • i dunno what happened to my site... so i decided that i would just start updating here... until my website will be up and running again.

we had a good feast this year... i really got my hands full... in what way?

    • i was assigned to coordinate the special music throughout the feast making sure that there's something for everyday, and when there wasn't any, i should be prepared to fill in... (thanks to my sibs... big help.)

    • i was also in charge of the photography and for the congregations. see, at the feast we want to have all 18 congregations' (plus other areas like overseas guests, manila, scattered) picture taken on stage one by one, so its my job to divide it in groups and schedule them throughout the week...

    • another area im in charge of was the childrens choir... teaching about 50 kids the songs to sing for their special music on Youth Day.

    • and also making sure i write the announcements for the scheduled picture taking, and special music everytime and submit it before services start..

    • plus in many activities i was involved in like choir, fellowship night, at the registration (400 people coming in), etc. and just finding ways to help out...

    • on top of that, i still have our variety show dances to worry about... most esp the "balancing pots" dance.

    • and my piano offertory music for the LGD. its good that teenee and gracielle volunteered to do the offertory music on the first day.

yet, inspite of all of these, i am happy. i am happy that i was able to participate in every way i can. to be involved in the church, at the feast. there's so much joy in doing that.

tonight we just had our usual wednesday night bible study and we are now on the book of Exodus.

so far life's been pretty hectic, good, busy and reflective. I've had a good dose of reading some good books lately... household work... doing video editings... accounting/bookkeeping work... working out at the gym (yes, i do! lol)... spending late nights at the rooftop looking at the stars and meditating...

anyway, its getting late, and i need to go. just thought of updating after almost a month of silence.

    have a goodnight!
